Graduate programs affiliated with SciMed GRS have the opportunity to nominate eligible prospective students for the SciMed GRS fellowship program. SciMed GRS Scholars are among the most competitive graduate applicants. The nomination includes graduate application materials and a personal statement from the nominee. Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS)

ABRCMS is a four day conference highlighting the research and community among underrepresented minorities in STEM.

Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences (MANRRS)

MANRRS promotes academic and professional advancement by empowering minorities in agriculture, natural resources, and related sciences. MANRRS holds an annual conference in April.

Society of the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS)

SACNAS is an organization dedicated to fostering the success of Chicano/Hispanic and Native American scientists in attaining advanced degrees and careers in STEM. SACNAS holds an annual meeting in October.
